Play Avalon MSX

An emulated European MSX2 with MoonSound and an SCC+ cartridge, running the Avalon MSX cartridge. Click the screen and start your adventure.

Starting loads the WebMSX emulator (about 5 MB) and the 4 MB game cartridge.

Controls

Arrow keys: Walk
Space or Enter: Talk, confirm, attack
Esc or F1: Menu: objects, items, status, load and save

Click the screen first so it receives your keys. On a phone or tablet, WebMSX shows touch controls. Pick a different sound card under Options → Music: MoonSound, MSX-MUSIC or SCC+.

Saving your game

On a real MSX, Avalon saves to the cartridge's battery-backed memory. The emulator can't provide that memory for a cartridge this size, so the game's own Save Game won't keep anything here.
